EC3 : AKA Derrick Bateman AEW or WWE

When EC3 (Michael Hunter Hutter) started his career in NXT and WWE Performance Center he fought in fourth and fifth season of NXT as Derrick Bateman but as we all know he hasn’t got any recognition until he joined the TNA Currently Known as Impact Wrestling.

TNA era of his career

In TNA his career graph was significantly going up and he has reputation over there. Also, while being at TNA he has accomplished many titles in TNA and Impact wrestling over the last several years, most of the time he worked as a heel character in TNA which was appreciated by the fans.

WWE Debut

WWE ruined his career in the span of 1 Year

which can be divided it into 3 phases:

First Phase

WWE promoted EC3 as a big NXT superstar hiring in WWE and he proved in his matches during his time with WWE NXT until he debuted in RAW.

Second Phase

EC3 was gaining popularity in NXT. then he got transfer to the main roster in RAW where they did not provide him opportunity to showcase himself. We only remembered his feud with Dean Ambrose(Currently working in AEW as Jon Moxly).

EC3 defeated Dean in that fight but after that feud he didn’t get any opportunity.

Third and Final Phase

Introduction for 24/7 Championship, we now only see EC3 running after the R-Truth for 24/7 Championship. He won the championship for several times but it didn’t last for long.

What Next for him?

We can see EC3 in AEW or Impact Wrestling after the ending of WWE contract. AEW should be the first preference for him. Because it is the new home for talented wrestlers around the world.

He will surely play the heel character over their and will provide us good matches.
